Tbilisi

The largest house by far, and the least admired. Half the copyists, translators and letter-writers in the city are Tbilisi, and there are Tbilisi families who have not left the record offices in four generations. Everyone has used one. Nobody is impressed by one. They read for a living and their hands go early, which the other houses consider fair.
