How levels andapples work
Two things grow when you show up on stream. XP levels up your card and never goes down. Apples are what you spend, on pets, card packs and songs. The tour below lets you try both in a minute; the exact numbers follow it.

Pull one (2% of pulls) and these open for good: Diamond frame, The Blessed title, Diamond apple on your card, The Blessed character.
Earning XP
XP counts once you have logged in with Twitch. Every row below goes straight onto your card.

An hour of chatting is 120 XP. Pulling every 3 minutes for an hour adds 200 more.
Getting apples
Every viewer has apples, logged in or not. They're kept by your Twitch name, so they're waiting when you log in.

One pull every 3 minutes, paid with channel points. Subscribers get more apples per pull at the same odds.
Chatting
+1 apple for each minute you chat, up to 60 in any 24 hours.
Apple nights
On nights the streamer switches it on, pulls and chat apples count x2.
Golden apples
On Apple nights, golden apples cross the stream. The first to type !grab gets 100. 3 a night.
Apple Race
Houses race by clicking the stream. Apples earned since the last race make the pot, and the winning house splits it by clicks.

Games and odds
Bets go up to 1,000 apples; "all" bets that much when you have more.

Over many bets both games give back a little less than you put in, so they're for fun, not for growing apples.
Pets and bond
The pet on your card grows with you. Bond builds up from the same things that earn XP.
Bond
- +1 for each pull
- +1 for every 5 chat minutes
- +3 for each !duel, win or lose
- +3 for each Apple Race you click in
Up to 20 a day. Pets that evolve take their next form at 100 and 200; every pet gets an aura at 300.
Perks
- Forager: 5% chance of +1 apple per pull (Common; up to 15% on Legendary)
- Lucky: 2% chance a pull lands one tier higher (Common; up to 5% on Legendary)
- Chatty: 10% chance chat apples are doubled (Common; up to 25% on Legendary)
- Night owl: +1 apple per pull on Apple nights (Common; up to +2 on Legendary)
Perks only touch your own apples, never races, duels or bets.

Questions
Do I need an account?
For apples, no: every viewer's apples are kept by Twitch name. For XP and levels, yes: log in with Twitch once and everything from then on counts.
I chatted a lot. Why so little XP?
Chat counts once a minute (+2 XP), however many messages you send in it. Chatting through a stream adds up; spamming doesn't.
Can I lose XP or a level?
No. XP only goes up. Apples go down when you spend them or lose a bet.
How do I see my apples?
Type !appleme in chat, or open your card. !appletop shows the leaderboard.
What's special about a Diamond apple?
It's 2% of pulls, pays 40 apples (60 for subscribers) and +100 XP, and opens the Diamond frame, The Blessed title and character for good.
Is there a daily limit?
Chat apples stop at 60 in 24 hours. Pulls are limited by the 3-minute wait and your channel points. XP has no cap.
Where do the houses come in?
Join a house and you race for it in the Apple Race on stream. The winning house's racers split the pot.
